Discipline and grievance issues are some of the most stressful moments a manager will face — not because they’re rare, but because the stakes feel high.

Say too little and problems escalate. Say too much or act too quickly and you risk damaging trust, morale, or even exposing the organisation to legal challenge.

This module gives managers a clear, structured approach to handling discipline and grievances calmly, fairly, and defensibly. You’ll learn when to act informally and when formal action is required, how to follow a fair disciplinary process, how to respond confidently when someone raises a grievance, and how to investigate concerns properly without jumping to conclusions,
